9th Annual Grand Prix Lawnmower Race

On Sunday, July 5, at 11:00am, do not miss La Pine's Grand Prix of Racing, The Lawnmower Race! This has got to be the most popular 4th of July event in Central Oregon! Participants are to assemble at the Main Fire Station parking lot at 10:30pm for inspection and instructions. The race is run in heats. Starting line is at Huntington & 1st, going south. Sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts, US Bank & Wise Buys, this event is a real crowd pleaser. The competition this year is fierce! Participants must arrive by 10:30am.
