8th Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off
"The Prairie Challenge"
The 8th Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be held Friday, July 4th, 2008. This years event will be for "Scouts" ... and is open to all scout troops boys & girls! Site set-up begins at 8:00am. Prep & Cooking will begin at noon. Judging will take place at 2:30pm for the dessert, 3:00pm for main dish and bread entries.
Along with the cook-off will be a demonstration of the art of Dutch Oven Cooking by members of the Central Oregon Dutch Oven Society. They will share their knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes with spectators. For information about Central Oregon Dutch Oven Society, click here.
