9th Annual Dutch Oven Cook-Off
"The Prairie Challenge"
This years Cook-Off is a traditional “3 pot” cook-off…meaning that the teams must compete in all three categories, Main Dish, Bread and Dessert. Winners of this competition will be eligible to compete in the IDOS (International Dutch Oven Society) World Competition in Salt Lake City, held in March. This cook-off is open to all dutch oven cooks! Come on down and show us your stuff! Prizes awarded for Most Authentic Recipe & Most Creatively Decorated Cooksite.
Members of the Central Oregon Dutch Oven Society will also be cooking throughout the day and selling a “sample platter” for everyone to taste the goodies from their black pots! Come on down any time during the day….Public Tasting and judging of the competition will begin at 2PM.
